Algonquin Pines is Muskoka's newest and most updated camping establishment! Family owned and operated, our campground is ideal for families, retirees and young couples. We have 98 beautiful, private sites nestled amongst the pines ideal for tents, trailers and RVs. Located at the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 35 in the village of Dwight, Lake of Bays, Algonquin Pines has an unmatched location for camping enthusiasts and beginners alike. Just 15 minutes outside of Huntsville, 15 minutes from Algonquin Park, and only 2 minutes from the Dwight Public Beach, our campground has something for everyone. Don’t feel like making the trek to town? No problem! Algonquin Pines has a heated pool, camp store, mini-putt, playground, miles of scenic hiking trails, and is within walking distant to local food and drink. Check out our other amenities below.
New to camping, or prefer camping in style and comfort? We have you covered, (literally)! Starting in May 2020, we will have 10 canvas bell tents available for booking. These are affordable glamping sites, each uniquely furnished with comfortable mattresses, electricity, and heating for those chili summer nights.

Shops of Huntsville
Looking for something to do on a rainy day, or just want to check out some cute local shops? Head 23kms West to the adorable town of Huntsville, known for its hilly terrain, art and character.
Algonquin Provincial Park
Located 20kms North East of us, Algonquin Provincial Park is known for its rivers, lakes and forests. Exploring Algonquin by foot, hitting the water or taking a drive along the winding roads is a great way to spend your day.
Dwight Public Beach is part of the Lake of Bays Township and is conveniently located just 2.6kms West of the campground. Aside from its serene landscape, this beach offers soft sand, picnic tables and Muskoka chairs; the perfect setting for a picnic or a day on the water. Looking for a hike? Love craft beer? We do too! Canvas Brewery is located in the heart of Huntsville and features two outdoor patios and a taproom. It’s basically the best place to hang out and enjoy a cold beer on a hot summer’s day.
Henrietta’s Pine Bakery
Much like us, Henrietta’s Pine Bakery is family owned and operated. They serve up the best homemade baked goods, sandwiches and coffee. The best part? They are located just 6 minutes by foot on the opposite side of the road from the campground.
